An overview of the pedagogical sequence for teaching the concepts of Multiplication and Division spanning 2nd through 5th grade.

Multiplication and Division is the next step up from addition and subtraction, and should be taught with a graduated spiral approach throughout the elementary school years. Both concepts can and should be introduced together, as early as second grade. In this module, we'd discuss how to introduce the concepts of Multiplication and Division for the first time. | ||
